Effective Date: 23 October 2026 · Last Updated: 23 October 2026

1.1 Introduction

Edubricz National Scholarship Exam (EBNSE) is operated by Edubricz Technologies LLP (“Edubricz”, “we”, “our” or “us”). EBNSE is an online examination initiative for students in Classes 1 to 10. This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and protected when users visit our website or use EBNSE services.

1.2 Information We Collect

Depending on the services used, we may collect student names, date of birth or age where required, class, school details, registration or examination ID, examination responses, marks, ranks and results. We may also collect parent or guardian names and contact details, consent and verification details, school representative details, payment references and status, IP address, browser/device information, usage logs and cookie information where used.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. We may receive payment status and transaction references. We do not intend to store full payment card details, banking passwords or PINs on our servers.

1.3 How We Use Information

1.4 Children's Privacy

EBNSE serves students in Classes 1 to 10, including children. We will take steps to obtain and verify parental or lawful guardian consent where required by law. Student data will be used for examination administration, result processing, educational coordination and scholarship-related purposes. We do not knowingly sell children's personal information and will not use it for targeted advertising or behavioural tracking where prohibited by law.

1.5 Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. Where necessary and lawful, relevant information may be shared with the student's school, hosting and technology providers, payment service providers, authorised scholarship administrators, or legal and regulatory authorities. Service providers are expected to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.

1.6 Results and Scholarships

Results may be shared with the student, parent or guardian and, where appropriate, the school. Public announcement of ranks or awardees will be limited to information considered necessary and appropriate, taking account of applicable law and student privacy. Scholarships are subject to official rules and verification.

1.7 Cookies, Security and Retention

Cookies or analytics technologies may be used for site functionality, performance and usage analysis where enabled. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, which may include access controls, authentication, backups and security monitoring. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for examination administration, scholarship processing, dispute handling, legal obligations and security, after which it will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

1.8 Your Rights and Consent Withdrawal

Subject to applicable law, individuals and parents or lawful guardians may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a grievance. Requests may require identity or authority verification. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services where the information is necessary and no other lawful basis applies. Contact admin@edubricz.co.in.

1.9 Third Parties and International Processing

External websites and service providers may have their own privacy policies. Some service providers may process data outside the user's location. We will take steps required by applicable Indian data protection law.

1.10 Policy Updates and Applicable Law

We may update this policy when our services, systems or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this website. This policy is governed by Indian law, including applicable provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules in force for the relevant processing.

2. Terms and Conditions

By accessing the EBNSE website, registering for an examination or using EBNSE services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you are a student under the age of majority, your parent or lawful guardian must review and accept the terms wherever required by law.

2.1 Eligibility and Registration

2.2 Examination Conduct

Students must follow all examination instructions and must not impersonate another person, share answers improperly, manipulate the platform, use prohibited assistance or interfere with the examination system. Suspected misconduct may be reviewed and may result in cancellation of an attempt, disqualification or withholding of results, subject to the applicable rules and a reasonable review process.

2.3 Fees and Registration Confirmation

The applicable examination fee will be shown before payment. Registration is considered paid only when the payment provider confirms a successful transaction and the registration is recorded or confirmed by EBNSE. Please retain the transaction reference and confirmation message.

2.4 Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use

Website content, branding, examination materials and software are owned by or licensed to Edubricz and may not be copied, redistributed, reverse-engineered or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law. Users must not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service or misuse another person's information.

2.5 Service Availability

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, connectivity problems, third-party outages or events beyond our reasonable control may affect access. Where an issue materially affects an examination, EBNSE may communicate an appropriate remedy, such as rescheduling or other arrangements consistent with the announced rules and applicable law.

2.6 Results and Liability

Results are determined using the announced examination and evaluation process. Users should report suspected errors through the official contact channel. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

2.7 Changes and Governing Law

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version. The version applicable to a registration will be subject to applicable law and any required notice or consent. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our standard rule: Once the examination fee has been successfully paid and the registration is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable and the registration cannot be cancelled for a refund merely because the student changes their mind, is unavailable, enters incorrect details, decides not to attend or is disqualified for a breach of the examination rules.

3.1 Non-Refundable Registration Fee

The EBNSE registration fee covers registration and examination administration. After successful payment and registration confirmation, no refund will ordinarily be provided. Please verify the student's name, class, school details, exam selection and other information before completing payment.

3.2 Failed or Pending Transactions

If money appears to have been debited but EBNSE does not confirm the registration, first check the transaction status and allow Razorpay and your bank reasonable time to update it. If the issue remains unresolved, email us with the Razorpay payment ID or transaction reference and your registration details. A transaction that failed and was not completed is not treated as a successful EBNSE registration payment.

3.3 Duplicate Payments

If you are charged more than once for the same registration, contact us with the relevant transaction references and proof of payment. After verification, an unintended duplicate payment may be refunded or reversed through the payment provider, as appropriate.

3.4 Exam Changes or Cancellation by EBNSE

If EBNSE changes or cancels an examination, we may communicate a rescheduled date, an alternative examination arrangement or another appropriate resolution. Any refund entitlement will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation. Nothing in this policy removes a right to a refund where one is legally required.

3.5 How to Raise a Payment Request

Email admin@edubricz.co.in with the student's registration ID, payer's name, date and amount of payment, transaction/reference ID, and a description of the issue. Do not email full card numbers, PINs, passwords or OTPs.

3.6 Processing and Legal Rights

Approved refunds, where applicable, will generally be initiated through Razorpay to the original payment method, subject to the payment method and provider rules. The time taken for the amount to appear in the account may depend on Razorpay, the bank or the payment provider. This policy does not override any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

4. Payment Policy

4.1 Fee Display

The examination fee applicable to a student will be displayed on the registration or payment page before the payment is submitted. Please review the total amount and any applicable taxes or charges shown at checkout before proceeding.

4.2 Payment Methods and Processing

Payments for EBNSE registrations are processed through Razorpay, subject to the payment methods enabled at checkout and Razorpay's applicable terms, verification processes and availability. Razorpay facilitates payment processing; Edubricz remains responsible for EBNSE registration, examination services, customer support and decisions on refund requests under this policy.

4.3 Successful Payment

A payment is treated as successful when the payment provider confirms the transaction and EBNSE records or confirms the registration. Save the payment receipt, transaction reference and registration confirmation for your records.

4.4 Failed, Delayed or Duplicate Payments

Do not repeatedly submit payment while a transaction is pending. Check the status first. If an amount is debited but registration is not confirmed, or if a duplicate debit occurs, contact admin@edubricz.co.in with the transaction details. Verified duplicate payments and confirmed failed transactions will be handled according to the Refund Policy and applicable law.

4.5 Payment Security

Payment transactions are processed through Razorpay. Payment details may be handled by Razorpay and the relevant banks or payment networks. Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, banking password or complete card credentials with anyone claiming to be EBNSE support. Edubricz will not ask you to send these secrets by email.

4.6 Payment Support

For payment or receipt queries, email admin@edubricz.co.in and include your registration ID and transaction reference. Do not include sensitive payment authentication information.

5. Scholarship Policy and Examination Rules

This section summarises the general rules for EBNSE. The official examination announcement, registration information and published scheme-specific rules will apply to each examination cycle. Please publish the final approved details before accepting registrations.

5.1 Eligibility

EBNSE is intended for students in Classes 1 to 10. Students must meet the class, school, registration and other eligibility conditions stated in the official announcement. Edubricz may request documents to verify eligibility.

5.2 Examination Format and Schedule

The examination mode, syllabus, subjects, duration, schedule, permitted materials, technical requirements and instructions will be communicated through the official EBNSE website or registration communications. Students and guardians are responsible for reviewing those instructions in advance.

5.3 Evaluation and Ranking

Marks and ranks will be determined according to the evaluation method published for the relevant examination cycle. Any tie-breaking method, re-evaluation process, correction window or appeal deadline must be specified in the official examination rules before the exam.

5.4 Scholarship Awards

Any advertised scholarship, including scholarship benefits of up to ₹70,000 if confirmed in the official scheme, is subject to the final approved award structure, eligibility conditions, rank, document verification and any other stated requirements. Participation or payment of the examination fee does not guarantee a scholarship.

5.5 Verification and Disqualification

Scholarship recipients may be required to provide documents confirming identity, class, school or other eligibility details. False information, impersonation, cheating, duplicate or fraudulent registrations, or other material violations may lead to disqualification or cancellation of an award, subject to applicable law and a reasonable review process.

5.6 Award Communication and Distribution

Eligible awardees or their parents/guardians will be informed of any further verification and award-distribution steps. The final approved rules should state the form of scholarship, payment or school-fee adjustment, required documents, deadlines and any restrictions. No particular payment method or timeline is promised unless specified in the official scheme.

5.7 Changes to the Scheme

If circumstances require a schedule or operational change, EBNSE will communicate it through official channels. Changes will be handled consistently with published rules and applicable law. Material changes affecting participants will be communicated where required.
